The Roland V-1HD+ is up there with the best compact A/V switching solutions. This device has four HDMI inputs, with one having PC resolutions. The individual inputs consist of frame buffer/TBC and support reliable frame rate conversion to avoid the need to genlock input sources together. You also have the option to either control the V-1HD+ manually or remotely via RS-232, as well as having access to a tally output for live camera work. A 14-channel audio mixer is built into the device, giving you the option to de-embed and embed audio signals from HDMI. The V-1HD+ utilities a four-layer effects engine that supports keying effects, PiP, and downstream keys, further comprising of PGM and PST busses and a central T-bar. These industry-standard video switching controls sit amongst tactile audio volume knobs, signal/peak lights, and unity gain markers to ensure that adjustments can be made with pinpoint precision.
